January 18, 2016. Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation) paid some of its basic debts with the state and corporation’s support last December and is now ready to expand its production.
According to the company press service, all the delayed wages and salaries have been paid out to workers in full. The better part of the overall amount was paid even before December, the rest was directed to the employees’ accounts before New Year. The wage and salary payments came to 425m RUR altogether.
The plant also paid all of its taxes and directed payments to the Russian Pension Fund and the Social Security Fund as well as to its heat and power suppliers Chelyabenergosbyt, MRSK Urala, Novatech Chelyabinsk, Fortum, Chelyabinskgorgaz, POVV, and others.
The company currently has enough money at its disposal to buy production supplies and to keep everything running. This year, the plan is to make 9bn RUR worth of goods and to increase the machine production output by 2.5 times. Customers are expected to buy at least 1,200 road-building vehicles; the plant already has an impressive number of orders to fulfill for the start of the year.
