Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation congratulates WorldSkills winners

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 6, 2015. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation congratulated the winners of WorldSkills, the national blue-collar job championship.
According to the corporation’s press service, their HR Director Sergei Saranchuk, acting on behalf of the company (the event’s sponsor), presented all of the gold winners with an up-to-date tablet computer.
Students from Nizhniy Tagil Metal Treatment School (part of the corporation’s Corporate University) Ivan Uzkikh and Almat Ibrayev won the third prize in Industrial Robotics. Both winners are currently in their last year of studying Welding Technologies and are planning to come and work at Ural Vagon Zavod.
WorldSkills Russia Union signed a number of important agreements with industrial enterprises during the championship. For one, Ural Vagon Zavod is now the Union’s associate member. The corporation’s Deputy Director-General for HR Viktor Khristenko and Director-General of WorldSkills Russia Union Robert Urazov signed a cooperation agreement to ensure the development of the company’s personnel reserve and the workers’ skills and qualifications with the help of WorldSkills standards and methods. The two parties will also conduct tailor-made seminars, forums, and conferences and will set up work teams to provide professional development, training, retraining, and dual education programs.
