Sverdlovsk Region’s industrial production index drops 4.7%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 16, 2015. Sverdlovsk Region’s industrial production index went down by 4.7% in September 2015 compared with August 2015, Sverdlovskstat reports.
The index also dropped by 15.9% compared with September 2014 and by 4.6% in January-September 2015 compared with January-September 2014.
The index dropped by 2.2% for the processing industries last month (by 15.9% compared with a year earlier). Their index for January-September 2015 declined by 3.2% compared with January-September 2014.
Also, the industrial production index went up by 8% in the production and distribution of water, natural gas, and electric power sector in September 2015 compared with August 2015 (by 7.3% compared with September 2014). However, the overall figure for January-September 2015 is 0.6% lower than that for January-September 2014.
