UVZ Corporation celebrates Knowledge Day

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 2, 2015. Uralvagonzavod Corporation's member enterprises in Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhniy Tagil, and Kamensk Uralsky celebrated Knowledge Day on September 1. The companies' management went in person to the schools where their employees' children study, the corporation's press service reports.
Besides, a show was performed at Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant's theater for the younger schoolchildren whose parents work at the plant. 128 boys and girls came to see it, all children of the corporation's employees and of members of Chelyabinsk Car-making and Agricultural Trade Unions.
Kamensk Uralsky Foundry Plant organized a show for forty children and their parents (the plant's employees) at the conference hall. Every school-starter was presented with a set of implements for arts and crafts classes.
This year, 104 children of Omsktransmash employees are starting school. Every one of them was allocated 1,000 RUR, with another 500 RUR added by Transmash Oboronprof for the trade union members' children. The kids' mothers were offered a paid day off on September 1.
