UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 31, 2015. Some representatives of Omsktransmash (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) took part in a business conference with their potential partners at Omsk Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the corporation’s press service reports.

The round table discussion gathered together leading industrial and research experts who presented their developments in the fields of power equipment and welding and forging technologies. Conference delegates demonstrated the potential of their metal-cutting devices made from superalloys, induction heating units, self-contained power supply units, LED bulbs and other energy-consuming lighting implements. Quite a few participants were introduced to Omsktransmash produce for the first time.

Remarkably, some of the delegates said they had actually come to the conference specifically in order to establish some business ties with Omsktransmash. Companies that couldn’t send their representatives forwarded their information leaflets and business proposals.

Omsktransmash Chief Technician and Chief Power Engineer contributed to a discussion on how the presented products could be used and shared their experience of production problems and solutions to those. The conference proved an important step to building a business relationship with one of Siberia’s largest defense enterprises.
