Azerbaijan Railways want to do business with UVZ Corporation

May 18, 2015. Representative of Azerbajan government authorities and business community paid a visit to Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s pavilion at TransCaspian 2015, an international transport and logistics exhibition.
According to the corporation’s press service, Azerbaijan Railways’ Dzhavid Gambar oglu Gurbanov said in the Q&A session that keeping on cooperating with the Russian company was their priority.
‘We want Azerbaijan to use Russian railway carriages. We know everything about them, they are easy to operate, and, finally, they are reliable. Besides, our two countries are close to each other, so finding and supplying the necessary spare parts won’t be a problem. Our transport network has been developing very rapidly, which is why we plan to keep expanding our ties with the Russian rolling stock manufacturers and logistics companies. Oleg Sienko is, in fact, a great friend of mine and a great friend of Azerbaijan. Uralvagonzavod Corporation has already been greatly contributing to the development of Azerbaijan’s transport system,’ he said.
Engineers from Azerbaijan Railways transport, infrastructure, and rolling stock production departments took an interest in KTs25/1.8 and KTsKh25/0/4 tank containers (made at Uralcryomash) which could be used for safe transportation of liquefied gas, mineral products, and hazardous chemicals.
