May 15, 2015. ChTZ Uraltrac (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) won a tender for the delivery of three PK 65 loading trucks to the Federal Special-Purpose Construction Agency (Spetsstroy) by July 2015, the corporation’s press service reports.
‘ChTZ already delivered two such loaders to the military construction company in December 2014. These were sent to Spetsstroy’s Saint Petersburg and Severodvinsk branches. The new set of PK 65 loaders will have an additional option: the machines will be fitted with heat-start fuel filters, which will ensure their unfailing performance in extremely low temperatures,’ the company says.
The customer hasn’t informed ChTZ yet where exactly the loaders are going; Vostochny space launch site, currently under construction, could be one of the destinations.
‘The plant intends to meets its delivery obligations in full and make sure the important government customer is satisfied, given especially the fact that Spetsstroy, which has bought ChTZ vehicles before, is planning on getting some of our track-laying vehicles this year as well,’ the press service says.
