April 23, 2015. Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation is taking part in TranRussia, a major international transportation and logistics services and technologies exhibition at Krokus Expo in Moscow. The exhibition opened on April 21.
This is the second time the corporation and its daughter enterprise UVZ Logistic have joined the exhibition. UVZ Logistic has managed to become a major railway shipments market player and one of Russia’s top five freight forwarders with 42,000 freight cars since the day it was founded four years ago.
Uralvagonzavod Corporation presents its two-in-one option at the exhibition: customers can buy the company’s railway produce and forwarding services at the same time.
‘We expect this exhibition to result in many new customers for both our freight cars and our freight forwarding services,’ says the company’s Railway Vehicles Promotion Director Mikhail Boyko.
According to the corporation’s press service, TransRussia is justly believed to be one of the country’s most important and popular exhibitions. It has remained the leading event in the transportation sector for two decades now, offering the participants a chance for extensive networking, taking a look at the newest trends and developments, negotiating, and landing advantageous contracts.
The exhibition will be attended by government officials, executives of leading transportation, logistics, and stevedore businesses, and representatives of industrial enterprises operating in Russia, the CIS, the Baltic States, and other countries. Kazakhstan, Byelorussia, Germany, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, and a number of other countries are featuring their own national pavilions.
