Omsktransmash to work with Omsk Region Cooperation Center on Defense Procurement

April 2, 2015. Heads of Omsk Region Inter-industrial Cooperation Center met with the management of Omsktransmash (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) on the company’s premises. The two parties agreed to work together on fulfilling their Defense Procurement obligations, improving the plant’s infrastructure, and development of cadre potential, the corporation’s press service reports.

The Inter-industrial Cooperation Center was set up in 2014 in order to promote cooperation between Omsk Region’s small and large enterprises. The Center also aims to help businesspeople in their networking efforts and to help them decide which products will enjoy good demand.

The executive and the officials drew up an action plan that is expected to help their cooperation efforts. For one, the Center’s management decided to track announcements for various tenders, assist small enterprises in applying for those and in completion of requirement specifications in accordance with Federal Act 223, conduct an in-depth internal audit and come up with a list of companies interested in getting orders from Omsktransmash, develop a database of potential cooperator companies, and work together on personnel training.
