March 30, 2015. Yekaterinburg housing market supply has been growing steadily over the last two months, even though the price fluctuations have remained insignificant, Ural Chamber of Real Estate’s press service reports.

The number of apartments and rooms offered for sale through the Chamber’s database went up by 15% in February: there are currently more than 9,000 apartments and nearly 1,400 rooms in communal apartments that can be purchased in Yekaterinburg. Besides, it now takes up to five months to get a place sold.

Housing prices, however, haven’t been changing in any noticeable way, with fluctuations staying within the 1% range over the last two months and prices shifting by 0.4% in the last four weeks. According to the Chamber’s analysts, the average price of one square meter in an apartment for sale on the existing homes market came to 76,381 RUR on March 23, 2015.
