ChTPZ Group to host WorldSkills Russia 2015

March 19, 2015. ChTPZ Group’s Training Center (as well as a number of other local sites) is going to host Sverdlovsk Region round of WorldSkills Russia 2015 on March 24-26. Candidates will compete in five categories: Mechatronics, Mobile Robotics, Operation of NPC turning machines, Operation of NPC mills, and Welding Technologies. Teams from fourteen local colleges and vocational schools submitted their applications to take part in the event, ChTPZ Group’s press service reports.
ChTPZ Group’s team will consist of students and alumni of the company’s corporate training program known as the Future of White Metallurgy. In addition to the five above-mentioned traditional categories, these students will also present their skills in Cabling and Industrial Automation.
The 3d Sverdlovsk Region WorldSkills Russia championship will be held on eleven sites, where candidates will compete in forty-one different categories, on March 23-27. Over 300 contestants from over 40 educational establishments have applied. The event is coordinated by Sverdlovsk Region Education Ministry, Specialized Competence Centers, and Sverdlovsk Region’s leading higher and vocational secondary educational establishments.
Winners will form Sverdlovsk Region team and take part in the national semi-final competitions in Ural Federal District (Yekaterinburg and Pervouralsk) on April 6-9.
