Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s Vladimir Rochshupkin chairs Union of Industrialists & Employers’ local branch

December 15, 2014. Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s Executive Director Vladimir Rochshupkin was elected Chairman of Sverdlovsk Region Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs’ Gornozavodskoy branch; the council members all voted unanimously in his favor, the corporation’s press service reports.
The council meeting was attended by heads and members of Sverdlovsk Region Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs’ Gornozavodskoye branch, Sverdlovsk Region Industry & Science Minister Andrei Misyura, directors of major enterprises in the area, and representatives of Nizhniy Tagil Council. Among the topics on the agenda were state support of businesses, import replacement, vocational cadre training and attracting staff onto Sverdlovsk Region’s industrial enterprises.
‘For one, Andrei Misyura stressed in his report that his ministry was ready to ensure more production cooperation among local enterprises, which would enhance both production outputs and sales. Vladimir Rochshupkin pointed out that in order for this increased cooperation to be a success, the industry ministry would have to provide financial aid (among other things) for companies mastering new products,’ the press service says.
Uralvagonzavod Corporation was also awarded a certificate for taking part in the 21st Century Engineer Contest as the Enterprise with Best Job Counseling Practices at Schools among Gornozavodskoy District-Based Businesses.
Director of Personnel Training Center Sergey Vassilyev spoke about the corporation’s would-be staff training experience: Uralvagonzavod sponsors kindergartens, schools, and lyceums in Nizhniy Tagil and starts job counseling early on.
This year, the corporation directed 27m RUR to school donations, and 30m RUR will be allocated in 2015.
