Omsktransmash employs graduates of Siberian and Ural colleges

October 17, 2014. Omsktransmash (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) employed graduates of the Urals- and Siberia-based colleges, the company’s HR Director Ekaterina Vetchinkina announced in the course of a round table discussion dubbed Hunting for Pros: How Can Education and Business Face the Government’s Key Task?

According to Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service, Vetchinkina said in her report that the recently hired young graduates majored in Machine-Building Technology, Electric Engineering & Electric Equipment, Thermal Engineering, Radio Equipment, Production Machines & Equipment, Hydraulic Machines, Hydraulic Drives & Hydraulic and Pneumatic Control Systems, and Computer Science & Numerical Engineering.

Vetchinkina explained the enterprise had come up with a special young employee support system which provides for an immediate pay rise upon hiring and an incidental settling-in allowance.

Omsktransmash has arranged for 175 new graduates who are currently majoring in 26 different fields in Omsk and Yekaterinburg colleges to get their degrees and come to work at Omsktransmash. This is one of the ways in which the enterprise has been training its own cadre.
