ChTPZ Group takes part in WIN Russia Ural in Yekaterinburg

September 26, 2014. ChTPZ Group’s experts took part in Industry World/WIN Russia Ural, an international forum for mining, metallurgical, metal treatment, and machine-building technologies, ChTPZ Group’s press service reports.
The forum covered a sectional meeting on training cadre for the mining/metallurgical and machine-building sectors and on the challenges, problems, experience, and solutions in the area. The meeting was attended by Sverdlovsk Region Deputy Minister for General & Vocational Education Alexei Pakhomov, Executive Vice President of Sverdlovsk Region Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs Tatiana Kansafarova, heads of industrial enterprises’ training centers, and college representatives.
‘One of the country’s best training centers was built on the premises of Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant as part of Sverdlovsk Region Government and Pervouralsk Metallurgical School’s project called The Future of White Metallurgy. Over the three years the program has been running, more than 200 high quality specialists have been trained, and most of them are now working at ChTPZ Group’s member enterprises,’ says head of ChTPZ Group’s Training Center Nikolai Desyatov.
According to Desyatov, the company also signed an agreement with Ural Federal University to set up the Chair for Technologies & Equipment for Pipe Manufacturing on the plant’s premises. The center’s alumni can now move on to a college degree by Ural Federal University under a special program that allows them to keep working in the meantime. 15 students have already enrolled for this project.
The sectional meeting was followed by an engineering and scientific research job fair. ChTPZ Group advertized its current openings there, including those of an engineer/designer, foreman, leading engineer, engineer/technician, and others.
