Yekaterinburg to build tourist information offices for World Cup 2018

September 2, 2014. National tourist information offices for foreign travelers could appear in the cities that are going to host the world football championship of 2018, RBC reports.
According to Russia’s Deputy Minister for Culture Alla Manilova, the introduction of such offices will help create a friendly information environment for the visitors.
‘We expect a large inflow of foreign travelers and would like Russia’s major transportation hubs, airports, and railway stations to get the so-called flagship, that is, national, tourist information offices. They are expected to appear in the World Cup hosting cities,’ Manilova said.
Now the world football championship of 2018 will be held in eleven Russian cities: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Nizhniy Novgorod, and Yekaterinburg.
