2 more McDonald’s restaurants to be closed in Yekaterinburg in September

September 2, 2014. McDonald’s will have to close down two more of its restaurants in Yekaterinburg in September, the company’s press service says.

This has to do with a scheduled one-month modernization program, upon the completion of which both restaurants will reopen. The fast food chain announced the news on the stoppage of several restaurants in Yekaterinburg on Saturday, August 30. The restaurants in question are located at 106 Chelyuskintsev St and 2 Yasnaya St (Fan Fan Shopping Mall).

The modernization program also covers five outlets in Saint Petersburg, two in Moscow and just as many in Moscow Region, as well as one restaurant in Kostroma, Orenburg, Perm, Naberezhnye Chelny, Ufa, Petrozavodsk, and Rostov-on-Don each.

All in all, twelve fast food restaurants have been closed in Russia so far. The company’s official Russia website is currently unavailable.
