Mini-hotels association to appear in Yekaterinburg

August 19, 2014. The Russian Association of Small-Scale Lodging Facilities is going to be set up in Yekaterinburg, Interfax reports.
The proposal to establish such an organization was placed with the Russian Hotel Association by the Saint Petersburg Mini-Hotels Association.
The decision was taken during the off-site meeting of the Supervisory Board in Yekaterinburg last Friday.
There are currently 42 hostels with a total of 180 rooms (1,000 beds) in Yekaterinburg.
The leading expert of Yekaterinburg Council Amenity Services Committee Natalia Lunegova also points out that about 22 new hotels with some 11,000 beds will have been built in Yekaterinburg by 2021.
