40 gaming machines get destroyed in Sverdlovsk Region

August 19, 2014. The public prosecution officers of Nizhneserginskiy District destroyed forty gaming machines at 25 Lesnaya St in Nizhniye Sergi, Sverdlovsk Region, the spokesperson for Sverdlovsk Region’s public prosecution authorities reports.

The machines in question were confiscated in the course of inspections conducted by the public prosecution authorities and the police after it had been determined that some illegal gambling had been taking place in Nizhniye Sergi and Mikhailovsk.

Following the public prosecution authorities’ demand, the said gaming machines were declared abandoned property by Nizhniye Sergi Court and were thus made the property of the Russian Federation.

The confiscated gaming machines were destroyed under pressure with the help of heavy-duty vehicles. The authorities keep working on the case.
