Unemployment rate comes to 1.18% in Sverdlovsk Region

August 15, 2014. The unemployment rate came to 1.18% in Sverdlovsk Region on August 1, which was 0.12% less than on August 1, 2013, Sverdlovsk Region’s Economics Ministry reports.
‘The number of the unemployed who registered with the local employment agencies comes to 27,194, while the number of job openings advertized by employers through employment agencies is almost twice as big as the number of the unemployed,’ the ministry says.
Most of the vacancies (30,176) are available in Yekaterinburg, while employers based in Kamensk-Uralsky, Pervouralsk, Berezovsky, and Verkhnyaya Pyshma listed 2,067, 1,889, 1,077, and 873 job openings, respectively.
