August 11, 2014. A group of delegates from Sverdlovsk Region are going to take part in the 13th International Investment Forum Sochi 2014 on September 18-21.
According to the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policy Department, the theme of the Mid-Urals stand and the local projects to be presented were discussed in the course of a recent meeting chaired by Sverdlovsk Region Vice Premier Alexei Orlov.
According to Orlov, the focus should be on the import-replacement projects.
‘It was decided that the best samples of Ural produce presented at Innoprom should be seen as the products of choice when it comes to presenting the area at other Russian and international exhibitions, including the investment forum in Sochi,’ Orlov said.
Sverdlovsk Region’s stand will be 80 sq m big. All the basic information about the area and its key projects will be displayed on a touch panel and a large multimedia screen. Among Sverdlovsk Region’s projects to be presented in Sochi are University Technopolis, Tagil Chemical Park, the New Sredneuralsk Project, the second line of Yekaterinburg Underground, Yekaterinburg orbital motorway, Yekaterinburg EXPO International Exhibition Center, and Ural Biomedical Cluster.
In addition to this, the stand will also feature Bogoslovsky Industrial Part, an innovative reparative technologies hospital in Nizhniy Tagil, the Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone, DreamWorks Amusement Park, and six innovative developments by SMEs such as an innovative elevator, an artificial lung, and some others.
