Production efficiency might become theme for Innoprom 2015

August 8, 2014. The next year’s Innoprom 2015 Exhibition might be dedicated to production efficiency, Sverdlovsk Region Vice Premier Alexei Orlov said during his meeting with Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeniy Kuivashev.
According to Orlov, this was one of the issues discussed at a meeting chaired by Russia’s Deputy Industry & Science Minister Georgiy Kalamanov.
‘The Russian Federation Industry & Science Ministry is currently clarifying all the details of Innoprom 2015 and is checking the way our Chinese partners are planning to take part in the event in. China is expected to join both the business events and the exhibition itself: Innoprom’s new partners are planning to present their exhibits in 15,000 sq m worth of pavilions and stands. As soon as this fall, the Chinese party is to decide upon its exhibition operator it will be partners with,’ Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policy Department says.
According to Sverdlovsk Region Vice Minister, five specialized exhibitions on machine-building, industrial automation, energy efficiency, optics and lasers, and urban technologies will be held within Innoprom for the first time next year.
The fact that the exhibition format will grow more diverse means Yekaterinburg EXPO Exhibition Center will have to be remodeled in many ways. At the moment, it is necessary to complete the entrance and locate a modern congress hall that will be approximately 8,000 sq m big.
