Viktor Kisselev: 2m sq m worth of housing to be put up in Sverdlovsk Region in 2014

August 7, 2014. Sverdlovsk Region Construction & Infrastructure Ministry is planning to commission 2m sq m worth of housing in 2014, of which 1.1m sq m will be commissioned in Yekaterinburg, minister Viktor Kisselev said at a press conference.
The construction ministry came up with this optimistic forecast after carrying a semiannual report for the first half of the year: over 770,000 sq m worth of housing were commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region over this period, including 354,000 sq m in the Urals’ capital.
This figure is twice as big as the one for the first half of 2013, Kisselev said.
All in all, 1.74m sq m worth of housing got commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region last year.
