July 17, 2014. Omsktransmash (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation) won a diploma in the Trade Union of Defense Industry Workers contest as the Best CSR Enterprise.
According to the corporation's press service, the third-prize diploma was given to the company by Chairman of the All-Russian Oboronprof Trade Union Andrei Chekmenev.
'Chekmenev congratulated the company team on this victory in the presence of division managers and trade union administration members. He pointed out that Omsktransmash actually joined the competition, dedicated to the union's 80th anniversary, for the very first time, and won a good place right away. According to Andrei Chekmenev, the main idea behind the contest is to facilitate a healthy working relationship between a company's trade union and its management. This relation is reflected through a viable collective agreement, compliance with this agreement, and completeness of this agreement. Omsktransmash is fulfilling all these successfully,' the press service says.
Andrei Chekmenev also awarded honorary certificates for great organizational work (which resulted in the plant joining the contest) to Omsktransmash Director-General Igor Lobov and Chairman of the Trade Union Viktor Kurochkin.
