Dmitri Medvedev launches Sinara Power Station

July 11, 2014. Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev took part in the launching ceremony of Sinara Power Station in Kamensk-Uralsky.
According to Sinara Pipe Plant's (SinTZ) press service, the heat and power station was reconstructed within the framework of a program on the development of one-employer towns and on the creation of a pipe manufacturing cluster on the premises of SinTZ (a member enterprise of Pipe Metallurgical Company/TMK).
The solemn launch of the station completed one of the core stages of a project on the development of Kamensk-Uralsky; for the first time ever, a televised Q&A session between SinTZ and Svedlovsk Region's exhibition stand was coordinated at Innoprom Exhibition. Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeniy Kuivashev, TMK BOD Chairman Dmitri Pumpyansky, and Head of One-Employer Towns Development Work Team under the Russian Federation Government Economic Development & Integration Committee Irina Makiyeva took part in the session as well.
On Kamensk-Uralsky's end of the line on the premises on Sinara Power Station, the session was coordinated by Mayor Mikhail Astakhov, Sinara Pipe Plant Managing Director Vyacheslav Popkov, and Sinara Power Plant Director Sergey Chizhov. MD SinTZ stressed in his speech that the reconstruction of the station was one of the key elements of the program on the development of one-employer towns and on the creation of a pipe manufacturing cluster.
