July 8, 2014. Following a three-year break, Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (ChTZ, a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporaiton) is going to deliver some tractors by order of Russia’s Defense Ministry, the corporation’s press service reports.

The B10 bulldozer with a mulcher will head for the Novaya Zemlya Archipelago in July; it will be used there for maintain local infrastructure facilities.

The vehicle with mechanical transmission and ChTZ-produced engine has all of the so-called northern options, including the engine pre-heater, the radiator next to the driver’s seat, and double glazing of the pit.

ChTZ took part in an auction and won the right to sign the contract. Under the contract, the manufacturing plant is responsible for providing a special set of warranty services to the customer in addition to the vehicles.
