Unemployment rate in Sverdlovsk Region is 5.6%, ILO says

May 19, 2014. Unemployment rate in Sverdlovsk Region in February-April 2014 was estimated at 5.6% by the International Labour Organization, Sverdlovskstat’s press service says.
The number of working residents came to an average of 2,261,200 people in these three months (February-April 2014), including 2,134,300 people with a job (94.4%) and 126,900 people (5.6%) without a job but one the lookout for one (the ILO classification defines them as the unemployed).
28,700 people (1.2% of the local work force) were registered as unemployed with the state-run employment agencies by the end of April 2014.
