Bulgaria to set up Consulate in Yekaterinburg in mid-June 2014

May 13, 2014. Bulgaria’s Consulate will open in Yekaterinburg in the middle of June 2014, the country’s Vice Premier Daniela Bobeva said in the course of her meeting with tourist companies representatives on May 11, ITAR-TASS says.
The question of whether the Bulgarian Consulate in Yekaterinburg would resume its work was brought up during the 9th Russia Arms EXPO exhibition in Nizhniy Tagil in late September 2013. Bulgarian Consulate will take on a trade and economic issues attaché. Besides, they are considering the possibility of launching a direct scheduled flight between Yekaterinburg and a number of Bulgarian cities.
According to Bobeva, some 700,000 Russian citizens are planning to visit the Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria this summer.
