Sinara Group, Kaluga Council agree to do business together at Kalugaputmash

April 14, 2014. Governor of Kaluga Region Anatoly Artamonov paid a visit to Kalugaputmash, a track machine and hydraulic power drive plant and a member of Sinara Transport Machines Holding, on April 9, 2014. The enterprise housed a meeting on the development of railway machine-building in the area, the holding’s press service reports.
The meeting was attended by Sinara Group BOD Chairman Dmitri Pumpyanski, Sinara Transport Machines’ Director-General Evgeny Gritsenko, Deputy Director for Technical Policy at Russian Railways David Kirzhner, and Director-General of RPM Group Konstantin Danilov.
The Governor took a look at the shops where the company’s innovative track machines are made and got acquainted with the technology of making the all-purpose PUMA 2012 track machine and the up-to-date track cranes and RPB-001, the ballast leveling machine.
Sinara Transport Machines’ Director-General Evgeny Gritsenko spoke about the development of his company’s machine-building assets in Kaluga Region in 2014-2018. He said over 4,000 people were working at Kalugaputmash and Lyudinovsky Locomotive Plant at the moment.
‘One of the companies’ primary tasks is to produce innovative, highly efficient vehicles for Russian Railways and industrial consumer and to enhance our production and economic efficiency through synergy of the production assets we have operating in Kaluga Region,’ Gritsenko pointed out.
