Koltsovo Airport passenger turnover goes up 10.4% in Q1'14

April 10, 2014. Koltsovo Airport of Yekaterinburg offered its services to 858,380 passengers in the first three months of 2014, which is 10.4% more than a year earlier. The number of domestic flights went up by 15.2%, the number of international flights went up by 5.1%, the airport's press service said.

467,970 people flew on domestic flights in the first quarter of 2014, the increase was 15.1%; 390,40 0 people flew on international flights (plus 5.1%). The number of sorties rose by 9% and came to 5,200. The number of scheduled flights increased from 84 to 94.

The passenger traffic rose most on the following destinations: Sochi, Krasnodar, Salekhard, Noyabrsk, and Rostov-on-Don. As for international flights, the popular destinations are Sharm El Sheikh, Rome, Dubai, and Goa.

48 air carriers are doing business with the airport at the moment, including 29 Russian airlines and 19 foreign ones. Ural Airlines flew the greatest number of passengers in the first quarter.
