March 27, 2014. Transport Machine-Building Design Office (KBTM, a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) presented eight new developments to a delegation of Gazprom officials during the exhibition of Omsk Region innovative industrial produce that took place at the local Expocenter, Uralvagonzavod's press service reports.
The presentation was coordinated in order for the corporation's member enterprises to be included in the register of Gazprom's certified suppliers.
A working team headed by Deputy Chairman of Gazprom Supervisory Board Vitaly Markelov spoke favorably of KBTM machinery, namely, the amphibious full-track vehicle PTS 4, the amphibian ferry, the special fire fighting vehicle, VULKAN 800/1500 (a self-sustainable energy-saving unit with a gas turbine engine), and the pile screwing machine MZS 219.
Visitors to the exhibition were particularly impressed with the all-purpose bridge-laying tank MTU 90M, bridge unit MMK, and the heavy-duty mechanized bridge TMM 6. This equipment is meant for setting up bridge crossings fast and for getting wheeled and tracked vehicles through these crossings.
