March 17, 2014. A sports festival called Electromachine Ski Track 2014 was held at Khimki Stadium in Kopeisk. This was the beginning of a series of sports competitions to celebrate the company anniversary. Some 200 people took part in this Ski Track event, a lot of company workers came there with their families, and everyone could try their luck in both sports competitions and traditional folk festivities, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.
The contests included ski races for all sports player categories (including the employees’ children) and a mini-football championship. Several dozen people took part in the ski races. The results were calculated on the basis of both personal and team achievements (the results of contestants from one division put together). Seven teams competed for the football cup. The emplpyees of Division 751 VP RF, who presented their own football team at the contest, received a special thank-you from the coordinators.
‘As for the entertainment component, everyone could find something to their liking: stilt walking, ring toss, bag fights (while balancing on a log), and a series of sports competitions for children. The proponents of more solitary activities could just enjoy skating and skiing,’ the corporation reports.
The sports equipment was free to use for Electromachine (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) employees and their families. Visitors to the event could also enjoy some bivouac cooking.
A prize-drawing lottery took place as well, with kitchen appliances and other things given out as prizes. The sports contests winners were awarded by the company management representatives: First Deputy Director-General and Chief Engineer Vladimir Reshetnikov, Deputy DG for Production & Technological Development Konstantin Kondratiev, HR Director Olga Cherepanova, Director for Legal Issues & Corporate Governance Albert Rokovoy, and Chair of Electromachine Trade Union Tatiana Kolevatykh.
