Uralcryomash's net profit comes to 50m RUR in 11 months of 2013

January 10, 2013. Uralcryomash, a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation, made some profit for the first time over the last few years. The revenues of Nizhniy Tagil-based enterprise reached 2,372,63m RUR in the eleven months of 2013 alone, and the net profit came to 48.52m RUR, the corporation's press service reports.

'The results of this performance mean Uralcryomash will be able to carry production upgrades and improve the employees' working conditions. Last year, a flame metal-cutting unit was installed at the plant, for example. The unit is currently used for making billets for the company's own needs and in the future, it will be used for fulfilling external customers' orders,' the message says.

A new welding column is now being technologically tuned; this column makes it possible to do automatic welding of internal and external girth welds of vessel cylinders. The unit is one of the links in a new assembly line meant for making tank containers.

In 2013, the company also launched a number of new premises that include shower facilities at all o the enterprise's production divisions.
