November 8, 2013. Uralvagonzavod, the head plant of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation, fulfilled the government defense order for 2013 ahead of schedule. All the contractual obligations toward the Defense Ministry relating to the delivery of special vehicles were fulfilled as early as the end of October. All the obligations relating to supplying spare parts and components to the corporation's enterprises have been met as well. In November and December 2013, items will be delivered for the year 2014 already, Uralvagonzavod Corporation's press service reports.

The company also signed an additional contract in 2013. By now, some of the items to be supplied under this contract have arrived as well. This is a long-term contract that will be valid through 2015.

The plant also supplied all the prototype hardware for Ural Transport Machine-Building Design Office and prepared items to be displayed at RAE 2013. Uralvagonzavod helped to prepare exhibits for Omsk-based Transport Machine-Building Design Office (KBTM) and Rubtsov Machine-Building Plant. This year, the three-year contract for the manufacture of armored recovery and repair vehicles was also fulfilled ahead of schedule.
