Yekaterinburg's highest hotel opens at Vysotsky Business Center

August 16, 2013. A hotel was opened at Vysotsky Business Center in Yekaterinburg today. The hotel is located on the 37th, 38th, and 39th floors of the skyscraper.

There are 73 single and double rooms of standard and premium class in this hotel. The hotel staff say the interior is done in the classical, barocco-like style.

This is an upmarket hotel as far as prices go: these vary from 5,700 to 15,000 RUR a day, depending on the room category. This is now the city's third hotel that aspires to be classed as a five-star one.

The symbolic red-ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by Mayor of Yekaterinburg Alexander Yakob and the owner of Vysotsky Andrei Gavrilovsky.

'This is a great present to Yekaterinburg on Town Day,' says Alexander Yakob.

Now Vysotsky Business Center is one of Yekaterinburg's projects that took a long time to build. The concept had been changed a number of times, and the idea itself of launching this hotel had been questioned a number of times.
