Over 20 Sverdlovsk Region enterprises to get 186m RUR in subsidies

July 29, 2013. Over 20 industrial enterprises based in Sverdlovsk Region are going to receive subsidies from Sverdlovsk Region budget so that they can pay the interest on the loans they took out to implement their investment projects, the region's government's press service reports.
Following a tender, the Ministry for Industry & Science decided to offer government support to 22 businesses; the subsidies total to 186.3m RUR and are to be directed to the payment of loans taken out to finance investment projects. The interest in question comes to no more than two-thirds of the Central Bank of Russia's refinancing rate that was valid at the moment the loan agreement was signed.
30 companies applied for these subsidies altogether; the biggest subsidy – 74.17m RUR – was allocated to Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant and its rolling facility construction project. Krasnouralsk-based SetStroyKonstruktsiya received 29.27m RUR to implement its hot-dip galvanizing department construction project. Besides, more than 15m RUR will be given to Yekaterinburg-based Plant No. 9 and its production base technical upgrades and reconstruction project and to Yekaterinburg-based URBO so that the company can purchase some new machinery.
