July 22, 2013. Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuivashev paid a visit to the stand of Russian Copper Company at the Innoprom 2013 exhibition that was held in Yekaterinburg on July 11-14. The Governor was shown the exhibition technologies and the augmented reality solutions and was told about the social projects that Russian Copper Company is now implementing in the areas where it operates, the company's press officer says.
The innovative technologies the company is using in its large-scale projects (Mikheyevsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise and Tominsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise) have been presented at the stand: for one, the company used advanced exhibition solutions such as augmented reality to show its achievements.
'The Governor was impressed by the technologies used at the stand. Some iPads connected to the model were used to show Kuivashev the performance of Mikheyevsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise. One can watch a video clip or listen to an audio recording on how Mikheyevsky is designed and how it operates; the story is presented by the company experts in the augmented reality mode,' the press release says.
The Governor was also presented with a Dochepugoletto T-shirt, a T-shirt that has portraits of the classical Russian writers on it. Russian Copper Company's Dochepugoletto Project that took off this year aims to popularize the golden age of the Russian literature among kids and teens in the areas where the company operates. Dochepugoletto is an abbreviation compiled from the names of classical Russian authors: DOstoevsky, CHEkhov, PUshkin, GOgol, LErmontov, Turgenev, Tolstoy, and Ostrovsky, Russian Copper Company's PR & Social Policies Director Evgenia Chaplygina told Evgeny Kuivashev.
