Ural Airlines flies over 2m passengers since start of the year

July 18, 2013. Ural Airlines has rendered its services to 2,098,586 passengers since the beginning of the year, the airline’s press service reports.
In January-June, 15,101 flights were operated, including 5,303 international flights, 6,295 domestic flights, and 3,503 flights to the CIS member states. Ural Airlines’ passenger traffic rose by 24% in the six months of 2013 compared with the first half of 2012. The company’s total passenger turnover came to 4,983,942,000 passenger-kilometers.
As for May-June 2013, the passenger turnover increased by 24% against a year earlier. Ural Airlines operated 6,254 flights in these three months, which was 27% more than a year earlier. This figure included 2,614 international flights, 2,334 domestic flights, and 1,306 flights around the CIS member states. 829,443 people flew with the company in this period. The actual passenger turnover reached 2,206,885,000 passenger-kilometers, which was 25% more than a year earlier.
