Sinara-Transport Machines presents diesel engines at International Maritime Defence Show

July 10, 2013. Sinara-Transport Machines presented the produce of its Ural Diesel Engine Plant (UDMZ, Sinara-Transport Machines’ daughter enterprise) at the International Maritime Defence Show 2013 in Saint Petersburg.

The company’s press service reports that a conference on STM’s advanced developments in the field of diesel engine manufacturing for the Russian Navy and the civilian shipbuilding industry was held for both the partners and the potential customers of the holding. The conference was attended by the leading Russian and foreign shipbuilding companies and shipbuilding industry representatives.

The conference program included a presentation of the entire range of diesel generators currently produced by the company: 630-, 1,000-, and 1,600-kilowatt ones that are produced by UDMZ on a commercial scale, and the new generation 1,000-3,000 kilowatt diesel engines that the plant is developing for its Dieselstroy project – a federally financed program aimed to support the Russian diesel engine manufacturing industry.
