Representatives of 45 African countries to visit Innoprom-2013

June 19, 2013. Representatives of forty-five African countries are going to visit Yekaterinburg as part of the Ural-Africa Economic Forum during Innoprom-2013.
According to Sverdlovsk Region Government’s Press Service & Information Department, the event is planned within the framework of Russian-African relations development: this was stated as one of the country’s foreign affairs priorities in the President’s decree issued in May.
The forum is coordinated by Russia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, EXPO 2020 Application Committee, the Industry & Trade Ministry, and Russia’s Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The agenda of the event covers things like making the interregional relations more active and promoting the Russian manufacturers’ product on the African continent.
