May 24, 2013. Sergey Krupko, the HR Director of Transport Machine-Building Design Office (KBTM, a member of Uralvagonzavod Corporation), won in Russia’s largest managerial contest called Manager of the Year 2012. The contest is coordinated by Russia’s Free Economic Society and the International Management Academy, with some support from the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation’s Soviet of the Federation, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.

The Manager of the Year contest is targeted at identifying the elite segment of the Russian managerial community, disseminating the positive administrating experience, and drawing attention to the senior executive training issues.

The first stages of the contest tool place in the federal constituencies. The second stage was an All-Russian one, and winners were selected from the ones who won in the local contests. Sergey Krupko won in the Omsk Region round and then in the national one and thus proved that Uralvagonzavod employs the country’s choicest cadre.


Krupko has been KBTM HR Director for about four years now. He managed to ensure the stable and efficient performance of all the HR Department divisions and to provide great discipline and organization over this time.
