May 23, 2013. Head of Rosnano Corporation Anatoly Chubais confirmed his plans to attend the Innoprom 2013 exhibition, President of Formica State Corporation Maxim Zverkov said at a briefing in Yekaterinburg.

Deputy Head of the Sverdlovsk Region Governor Administration Alexei Bagaryakov said the federal organizing committee of the exhibition was to be chaired by Russia’s Industry & Trade Minister Denis Manturov.

‘Because this is a federally important exhibition (and it has already been declared by the Russian Government as such), I think it will be given the national rather than the local status by the time it opens,’ Bagaryakov noted.

He also said that the first Polzunov Industrial Prize might be set up exactly by the time Innoprom opens this year.

‘Polzunov came from the Urals, and it is due to him that Russia had a number of industrial breakthroughs,’ the Deputy Head of the Sverdlovsk Region Governor Administration said.
