May 22, 2013. The Industrial Urals-The Polar Urals Energy Company got a license allowing it to operate Harp-12, a heat and power station with fire explosive capacity; the company can now operate the equipment that works under the pressure of over 0.07 MegaPascals or with water heated to more than 115 degrees centigrade and operate the natural gas consumption grid Harp 12 that uses and transports natural gas, the company’s press service reports.
The station went through an equipment upgrade last year, which enhanced the station’s performance reliability considerably and improved its performance characteristics as well.
‘We put a lot of efforts into modernizing the power station. The efficiency of equipment and fuel spending went up. Our output rose as well: we are gradually adding up new consumers, who raise the total workload of the station,’ says the company’s Director-General Sergey Melnichenko.
