KBTM engineers win in 1st round of All-Russian Engineer of the Year Contest

May 22, 2013. Four engineers employed with the Omsk-based KBTM, a transport machine-building design office that is part of Uralvagonzavod Corporation, won in the first round of the prestigious All-Russian Engineer of the Year 2012 Contest. The solemn awarding ceremony took place in Omsk Region Ministry for Industrial Policy, Communications, and Innovational Technologies, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.
Vladimir Mishin, a department head with 43 years’ work record at KBTM, was given the title of the laureate of the Engineer of the Year 2012 Contest.
Sergey Bondarenko, a 1-st rate product design engineer with 43 years’ work record at KBTM, and Irina Sukhareva – a chief product design engineer with 26 years’ work record at KBTM, were given certificates and decorations of Russia’s Professional Engineer for winning in the first stage of this contest.
