Sverdlovsk Region dwellers to get access to 200 e-services by end of year

May 15, 2013. Slightly over 138,000 residents of Sverdlovsk Region registered with the state services web portal, which makes the region Russia’s No.4 among all the federal constituencies in terms of the number of registered state services portal users, Sverdlovsk Region Government Press Service & Information Department reports.
The local residents are actually growing more active in their use of the portal that tries to react to their queries on the basis of ‘only one clerk principle. At the moment, 63 different e-services are available in the region, and by the end of the year, locals will get access to more than 190 federal and municipal e-services.
Sverdlovsk Region Transport & Communications Ministry’s experts explain that 63 of their services have already been made electronic, including 42 federal and 21 municipal services. Under the national trend, these are the most vital and socially important services in the field of education, healthcare, economics, culture, and property relations that were converted to an electronic format first. At the moment, the federal level services such as renewing one’s international and internal passports, paying road fines and parking tickets, submitting one’s tax declaration, registering one’s car, and registering at a dwelling are among the most popular e-services.
