Sverdlovsk Region to create and modernize over 100,000 jobs

May 14, 2013. A visiting session of ad hoc work team set up to monitor the implementation of the Russian Federation President’s decree in Alapayevsk will take place on May 15. The meeting will be dedicated to plans to create more jobs in Eastern Administrative District, Sverdlovsk Region Government Press Service & Information Administration reports.

The region’s Economics Ministry says 34 applications regarding the creation and modernization of 4,190 new jobs have already been placed with them. Most of the applications came from Alapayevsk and Irbit. For one, these are Alapayevsk Mechanic Arm Plant Stroydormash, Tabletta, Forestry Traditions Construction Company, Alapayevsk Metallurgical Plant, Carbolane, Irbit Dairy Plant, Talitsa Dairy Plant, MAIV, and SMIT that submitted the greatest number of applications.

The visiting session will be attended by Sverdlovsk Region Economics Minster Dmitri Nozhenko. Heads of organizations are going to present their investment projects, experts from the region’s Economic Ministry will consult those interested in joining the job creation and modernization and government support program and will also offer advice on taking part in the industrial trade fair Innoprom 2013 and in international events backed by Sverdlovsk Region Government and on making out the balance of the local cities and towns’ labor resources.
