April 24, 2013. Ural Diesel Engine Plant (a member of Sinara Transport Machines) was visited by the Director-General of SakhaEnergo Nikolai Parnikov. The head of SakhaEnergo looked at the diesel generators assembling department and at the testing station as well as at the diesel energy facility that comprises two 1,000-kilowatt diesel power stations and the unit control system, Sinara Group’s PR Center reports.

In February 2013, Sinara Transport Machines and SakhaEnergo signed a contract for the production of 1,000-kilowatt DG 1000C3 diesel generating unit. Ural Diesel Engine Plant developed all the documentation for the diesel unit for SakhaEnergo and arranged the schedule for all the assembly jobs; the unit is to undergo all-round testing soon. The diesel station is to be shipped to the customer in late July so that it could actually be delivered to the village of Tiksi, Sakha, Yakutia, as soon as the summer sea-shipping season starts.

Sinara Transport Machines Director-General Oleg Yemelyanov says that thanks to the company’s mutually beneficial cooperation with SakhaEnergo, Ural Diesel Engine Plant is now implementing its project on the development of DG 1000C3 diesel generating unit.
‘The plant expects to contribute to the upgrade of Yakutia’s power-generating facilities in the future as well,’ Yemelyanov said.
