UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 22, 2013. A unique Mechatronics training workshop is now operating on the premises of Uralvagonzavod Personnel Training Center. This workshop offers a skills upgrade to all kinds of mechanics, electricians, setup experts, heads and experts from the Mechanic Service Department and the Energy Department, computer programmers, engineers who deal in design, assembly, start-up, and O&M of modern multi-functional technological lines and electronically controlled units, Uralvagonzavod’s press service reports.

This is actually the second training workshop that operates at Uralvagonzavod’s training and production section. The first Hydraulics workshop has been operating for almost a year now. Mechatronics consists of two independent sections: Mechatronics MPS 205 and Mechatronics MPS 205 Robotics that are managed by 13 interactive educational programs. Practical tasks are completed and line management is administered with the help of PCs (five licensed workplaces).

The entire Mechatronics workshop lasts for five days, with eight hours of classes every day. The center coaches are ready to offer their workshop to more than 100 people a year. The training is quite specifically targeted at teamwork. The equipment allows for the opportunity to create teams and ensure interaction between people with different areas of expertise during the workshop.
