Tankprom Conference to Take Place in Nizhniy Tagil in Early April

March 26, 2013. On April 2-5, 2013, the Tankprom All-Russian Research & Practice Conference will be held at the head plant of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation in Nizhniy Tagil. The conference is dedicated to the history, historiography, and museum exhibitions relating to the tank industry, and books on the subject, Uralvagonzavod’s press service reports.
The conference is organized by Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation, the Russian Academy of Sciences’ S.I. Vavilov History of Natural Sciences & Technology Institute, and Russia’s Ministry of Culture’s Polytechnic Museum.
Prominent scientists, military experts, Russian industry historians, museum and archive workers, reputed industrial journalists, and the tank industry’s long-service and current employees are expected to take part in the event.
