Ural Airlines on the Government Program List

March 05, 2013. Ural Airlines is now on the list of companies participating in the government-run program on making air travel affordable. Under this program, special rates are offered on flights from the Far East and the Polar North to the European part of Russia and back, the air carrier’s press service reports.

Starting February 21, 2013, early booking of specially priced tickets was made available for destinations such as these:
Chita-Moscow-Chita
Yakutsk-Saint Petersburg-Yakutsk
Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – Vladivostok – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
Saint Petersburg - Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
Khabarovsk- Saint Petersburg-Khabarovsk
Vladivostok-Saint Petersburg-Vladivostok
Norilsk-Mineralnye Vody.

According to the terms and conditions of the program, these low priced tickets can be purchased by Russian citizens under 23, women over 55, and men over 60. What is more, children under 2 who get their own seat in the cabin and children aged 2-12 get a 25% discount. In addition, one child under 2 who is accompanied by an adult can fly for free (without his or her own seat).
