SinTZ Organizes Charity Event for Soldiers

February 27, 2013. The employees of Sinara Pipe Plant (SinTZ, a member of Pipe Metallurgical Company) coordinated its traditional special event called Smile, Soldier! This was done on the eve of the Defender of the Motherland’s Day. During a charity marathon, the plant workers and the students from the plant-sponsored schools collected over 700 parcels with the useful things for the soldiers in the army, the company’s press service reports.

It is reported that the event coordinators visited Elansky District Training Center and presented their gifts to the regular soldiers around February 23. Among the coordinators were members of the plant’s Long Service Employees Committee, members of SinTZ trade union and A.I. Brizhan Youth Council, and representatives of the Kamens-Uralsky division of the Russian Red Cross, as well as officials from the municipal youth council and students from Schools 3, 15, and Sinara Orphanage.

The press release states that the schoolchildren prepared a special performance for the soldiers and gave them their hand-made cards. In their turn, the military from Elansky garrison made a parade performance and showed the kids the samples of some military vehicles.
